Tuesday Toppers: Easter egg

Keeping up with my Easter theme, this weeks tuesday topper is a colorful easter egg. It's such an easy little topper to make and can be decorated in so many different ways. You can do dots and squiggles, or zig zags and lines. The options are only limited by your imaginations :) Here's what you'll need to make one:

-Fondant Smoother
-Paint brush
-knife
-Pink, purple, white, and teal fondant (the color combo's are endless though)

-Take a 1 1/2" ball of fondant and flatten slightly with fondant smoother.

- With thumb and index finger, pinch top in slightly to form the circle into and egg shape.

-For the decorations, take small amounts of each color and roll them out into very thin ropes.

-Flatten slightly with fondant smoother.
-Apply to egg with small amount of water in pattern desired.

- Now its up to you how you can decorate your easter egg. You can make different colored eggs and different colored decorations. The possiblities are endless!
