Max and Ruby tea party cake

Max and Ruby tea party cake

We celebrated maddie's birthday this weekend and of course I went a little overboard as usual. She is a huge Max and Ruby fan so I immediately knew what i wanted to make ( i like this age where i still get to choose the design of the cake, hehe). If you've ever watched the show you know that max can be a little handful for his bigger sister Ruby. So on the cake Max is making his famous worm cake for the tea party that he wasn't invited to, and Ruby and her best friend Louise are having a ladybug tea party on top as far away from Max as possible :).

  8. Wow.
I just found your blog and I'm so in awe of your talent. I don't even like Max and Ruby (it makes me cringe when my daughter asks to watch them) but this cake could win me over!!

  9. This is one beautiful cake!! Out of curiosty, what would you have charged for this cake if you were making it for someone? I can't even do a plain old Ducan Hines mix and get the frosting to look right.

  13. I LOVE this cake! My son (who is turning 2 in June) adores Max & "Wuby" and I would like to attempt a cake similar to this. Could you please tell me what is supporting the upper level of the house, considering the top tier of cake is smaller and set back some? Could you share how you did this? Thank you so much!
